Prevention

Proper and frequent hand washing is the most effective way to prevent the spread of any illness and would be essential to preventing the spread of illness in a pandemic flu situation.  Click Here to learn more and do your part to prevent the spread of illness today and every day!

You can take simple steps to help prevent the spread of any type of influenza and other illnesses.  Follow these simple steps:

·        Stay home from work, school and errands when you are sick, and don’t send your children to day care or school if they are sick.

·        Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

·        Wash your hands often or use waterless hand sanitizers.

·        Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

·        Keep your distance from others if you’re sick.
