Volunteer

How you can help:

In an emergency, public health agencies in your area may need to distribute medication or give vaccinations to everyone in the community. Volunteers will be needed to help deliver important, life-saving emergency services.

Central Valley Health District is involved in a statewide effort called the Public Health Emergency Volunteer Reserve (PHEVR).  The purpose of the PHEVR program is to identify individuals that are willing to assist public health agencies in an emergency situation.

As a PHEVR volunteer, you will be helping your friends, neighbors, family members, and community through a difficult time.

Individuals must be at least 18 years old and must live, work, or attend school in North Dakota to become a PHEVR volunteer.
